Family Medicine Residency Program Faculty opportunity in Moultrie Georgia 35 miles to Albany, GA; 60 miles to Tallahassee, FL Position Details

- Seeking a full-time faculty member to join their team!
- An ideal candidate will be an experienced physician or new grad who can start in 2025 and is interested in working in an academic setting.
- Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience; negotiable depending on GME experience or special training such as a fellowship.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8am - 5pm
- Call: Some call required (mainly home call after hours to cover residents); optional OB call
- Duties: - Provide direct care to clinic patients and to educate residents through precepting - Not required to have faculty experience - Must be willing to perform full spectrum family medicine care and be willing to know OB (must have an understanding; do not have to perform) - Additional faculty duties such as formal teaching, performance evaluations, and advising will gradually be added over the first year of employment.
- Patient Volume: an average of 20-24 patients per day (10-12 per half day)

- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
- Board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or the American
- Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFM)
- Valid Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
- Current D.E.A. Certificate
- Must be in good standing with current employer or residency/fellowship program
- Must be willing to know OB but are not required to perform it.
- Must be willing to perform the full family medicine spectrum. Preferred Qualifications:
- FQHC/CHC experience
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
