Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in the operating room with cases such as CABG, aortic dissection, Impella placement/removal, and ECMO cannulations
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting (targeting under 60 minutes per harvest); radial harvest experience preferred but not required
- Support a consult clinic (4-9 patients per day), primarily assisting rather than direct patient care
- Manage pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Serve as solo provider on weekends with attending backup
- Complete all documentation and EMR duties (Epic)
- No LVAD or transplant cases
Additional Information
- Must hold a current Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC)
- Missouri license required
- EVH proficiency and strong case logs are critical for consideration
- Assignment is due to provider retirement; start date is flexible within December
