Specialty accepted: Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Nurse Practitioner
Start date or shifts: ASAP ongoing
Daily schedule: One to eight claimants per day
Practice setting: Outpatient VA disability evaluations clinic
Types of procedures: Comprehensive medical disability examinations, review and analysis of medical records, completion of disability benefits questionnaires and medical opinions, case management documentation, charting in EMR, pap smears, pelvic exams, sensitive exams for male and female veterans
Number of patients: One to eight per day
Ages: Adults veteran population
Requirements: Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, minimum one year of experience, NPI required, strong computer skills including Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, time management, organizational and communication skills, local and commutable candidates preferred, any state license accepted
Additional information: Examinations are one time only appointments. Providers must complete charts and submit exams within twenty four to forty eight hours. Work performed in web based case management and EMR systems. Collaboration with Quality Assurance Team
