- Patient Panel:
- Small outpatient panel if feasible
- Perform elective/emergent Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgeries
- Responsibilities:
- On-call services covering cath lab, emergency surgeries, inpatient consults/surgeries
- Complete Cardio-Thoracic coverage for the hospital
- No clinic coverage necessary (hospital-based only)
- Demographic: Adult
- EMR System: Cerner
- Patients Per Day: Variable (approx. 10 surgeries/month for a full-time provider)
- Support Staff:
- 1-3 APPs supporting Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Dedicated RN facilitating scheduling
- On-site services include OR, radiology, and lab
- Gratis In Oncall Rate: Must include 4 hours
- First Assist APP and APP Rounding: Yes
- Physician Call: Second call
- Hospital Setting: 100% hospital-based
- Patient Demographic: Adult
- EMR Platform: Cerner
- Support Staff:
- 1-3 APPs supporting Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Dedicated RN for program scheduling
- On-site services include OR, radiology, and lab
- Gratis In Oncall Rate: 4 hours included
