Facility:
This respected medical center serves as a Level II Trauma center in the Tacoma area, providing comprehensive orthopedic care to the community. The facility features state-of-the-art equipment, dedicated PA support, and uses the EPIC electronic medical record system for streamlined patient care.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Orthopedic Surgery
Job Details:
• Coverage needed for 2 weeks per month (ongoing), starting November 17
• Provide 24/7 ER coverage with dedicated PA support
• Work 3.5 days in outpatient clinic (three mornings each week, Monday-Friday)
• Perform full spectrum of orthopedic cases (minus complex pelvic issues)
• Must have 5 years of Level II trauma experience (required)
• Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon required
• Patient load varies from 0-7 per day
• Washington state license or IMLC with LOQ in hand required
• BLS, DEA certification required (will consider candidates that will obtain once offer is accepted)
• Clean malpractice history preferred
• 60-90 day credentialing timeframe
• Contract duration: 6-9 months
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
