High-acuity neurointerventional locums assignment in Florida; 1-2 weeks/month with expedited credentialing available.
Highlights
- 24-hour acute stroke call; Tuesday-to-Tuesday block
- No clinic; procedures, consults, rounding only
Practice Setting
- Inpatient only at a Level II trauma center
- All stroke cases in Brevard County routed here
- Supported by NP for rounding and notes
- EPIC charting (recent experience allows testing out)
Schedule
- Tuesday to Tuesday: 7a-7p on-site with 24-hour call
- Flexible date blocks; 1-2 weeks/month
- Call volume: avg. 1 case/night, census 8-15
Cases and Procedures
- Neuroendovascular surgery and interventional neuroradiology
- Includes: stroke thrombectomy, AVM embolization, aneurysm coiling, carotid stenting
- Mix of scheduled and emergent cases
Requirements
- Board-certified/eligible in Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology via radiology pathway
- Active Florida license preferred (IMLC considered)
- DEA, ACLS, and clean file required for temps
Travel Accommodations
- Airfare, rental car, lodging, and mileage reimbursed
