About the Role

A thriving coastal medical center in Coos Bay, Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a 3-month locum assignment (with possible extension) . This role offers an ideal balance of outpatient clinic work and light inpatient call, alongside excellent pay, malpractice coverage, and fully paid travel and lodging.

Position Highlights
  • Schedule: Full-time 80 hours per pay period

  • Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

  • Patient Load: per day (outpatient focus)

  • Coverage Mix: 80% outpatient, 20% inpatient (call only)

  • Call: 1 2 nights/week + 1 weekend/month (Friday 5 PM Monday 8 AM)

  • Team: Work with 4 physicians + MA, RN triage team, and device clinic staff

  • EMR: Epic

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret echos and non-nuclear stress tests

  • Read EKGs and Holter monitors

  • (Preferred) Perform TEE and cardioversion procedures

  • Deliver collaborative, patient-centered cardiac care

Requirements
  • Board Certified in Cardiology (Non-Invasive)

  • Active Oregon license OR open to any state license with OR license willingness

  • Minimum 1 year of cardiology experience

  • DEA (verbal confirmation required at name clear)

  • CAQH login/password + NPDB self-query required at offer

  • Clean malpractice/background strongly preferred
