This is a 396-bed Level 2 trauma facility providing comprehensive neurosurgical services to the region. The hospital offers advanced surgical capabilities with strong interdisciplinary support for complex neurological cases and emergency coverage.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Neurological Surgery
Job Details:
• Emergency coverage need for Friday, September 12th through Saturday, September 13th at 4:30 pm
• Handle 10-20 patient encounters per shift
• Must have active Indiana medical license, DEA and CSR
• General neurosurgery skills required with focus on adult and trauma cases
• Preferred experience in various neurosurgical procedures including cerebrovascular, tumor removal, spinal surgery, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Experience with VP shunts, skull base surgery, and pain procedures preferred
• Ability to manage trauma cases and perform emergency neurosurgical interventions
• Competency in placement of ICP monitors and central line placement preferred
• Ventilator management skills preferred
• BLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30-60 days

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
