Warehouse Associate Job at Abacus Staffing in La Porte

Overview

Experience with PVF- Pipe, fittings, and flanges. Familiarity of heat numbers and MTRs if possible. Shipping and Receiving, truck loading with large bore plastic pipe.

Qualifications

• A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.
• Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it.
• Forklift Operator experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
• Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate

Hours

Work Hours: 7am-3:30pm with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
