Overview

The Warehouse Associate will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks in support of recycling processes at the facility.

Base pay range

$20.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Duties/Responsibilities

• Follows all safety rules for warehouse including wearing of PPE – steel toe shoes, safety vest, gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection at all times.
• Receives, distributes, and stores materials as directed in designated, secure locations.
• Receives inbound material, sorts by material type, and maintains records of material by date, customer, weight of commodities, and other pertinent information utilizing an ERP system.
• Operates a variety of hand tools during the disassembly of small electronics.
• Cleans and prepares specific areas of work site as assigned, including cleaning debris, trash, or removing materials such as cardboard, shrink wrap and pallets.
• Transport and loads materials and supplies (manually and/or using hand trucks).
• Collects and properly recycles material; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
• Immediately reports all accidents to Manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of related warehouse experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
• Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours a day.
