As the Head Infant Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Develop, prepare, and implement an infant curriculum
- Maintain files on children, specifically on social and cognitive growth and development
- Informally observe and evaluate children
- Provide referrals to parents when needed
- Communicate with parents on a daily basis through face to face contact and daily sheets
- Coordinate ideas and activities with other teachers and assistant teachers
Head Infant Teacher Minimum Salary: $17.50 per hour
Head Infant Teacher Maximum Salary: $18.00 per hour
Head Infant Teacher Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm 40 hours per week
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development, Child Development, or a related field
- Required: 9 college credits in Early Childhood Development or a related field with 2 years of experience caring for children
