Launch your career at JLL! This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth. You will work as part of an integrated facilities management team at multi-million sq ft world headquarters for a JLL client.
Location: North Austin / Round Rock, TX. Schedule: On-site, Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Reporting To: Lead Business Services Coordinator. Estimated compensation: $16.63 -$18.00 an hour. The range listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A job offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
What this job involves
The Receptionist/Building Services Coordinator provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This role will be responsible for greeting guests, providing badges for all guests while adhering to Security protocol, and following the required dress code.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Guest and Employee Services: Greet and sign in visitors/employees, issue visitor badges, and assist employees who forget their access credentials
- Communication Management: Answer incoming calls and Teams messages, maintain critical contact lists, and communicate effectively with all management levels and cross-functional teams
- Operational Support: Resolve building service issues (janitorial, parking, badging, conference rooms), submit work orders, and provide coverage for seated BSCs during breaks
- Safety and Maintenance: Conduct routine building inspections and complete safety/maintenance walkthroughs
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update SOPs, process informational activities, work on Excel spreadsheets, and complete online training assignments
- Policy Compliance: Ensure all client policies and procedures are followed consistently
- Multi-Site Flexibility: Support operations across Parmer and Round Rock client campuses based on business needs
Required experience and skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One (1)+ year of proven customer service/client facing work experience OR successful completion of an associate's degree
- Reliable transportation to drive between Parmer and Round Rock client campuses as needed
- Exposure to Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, OneNote, and Outlook)
- Computer literate with ability to type at least 40 words per minute (WPM)

- Ability to maintain professional attitude in difficult situations
- Previous experience in corporate or multi-site environments
