This position is a Charlotte, North Carolina-based hybrid role. Individual will be expected to be in the office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with remaining days remote.
Hemmings, the world's largest collector car marketplace and media brand, is seeking a strategic and analytical Performance Marketing Manager to lead and optimize paid media programs across channels like Google Ads, Meta, programmatic display, and affiliate. You’ll manage full-funnel performance campaigns to drive traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition for both our marketplace and membership offering. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes data, thrives in a fast-paced digital environment, and has a passion for cars, e-commerce, and success.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of performance marketing channels (paid search, paid social, display, affiliate, retargeting).
- Build, launch, and optimize campaigns that drive conversions, revenue, and ROAS goals.
- Partner with the content, creative, and product teams to ensure ad copy, creative, and landing pages align with audience intent.
- Continuously analyze campaign performance and report on key KPIs (CPA, CTR, ROAS, LTV).
- Develop and test new media strategies and A/B experiments to scale acquisition efficiently.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and pacing across all paid channels.
- Stay up to date on platform changes, industry trends, and competitive activity.
- Bonus: Experience in automotive, enthusiast media, or niche marketplaces.
Qualifications
- 3-6 years of hands-on performance marketing experience (ecommerce or marketplace experience preferred).
- Strong experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Looker, etc.).
- Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.).
- Proven track record of optimizing campaigns to achieve ROAS or CPA goals.
- Deep understanding of attribution, funnel optimization, and audience targeting strategies.
- Comfortable working with creative teams to ideate ad assets and messaging.
