Our client, a well-known home décor Brand is seeking an experienced Sr. Upholstery Designer to support the team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a collaborative, trend-forward design team at one of the leading names in home retail.
This is a 6-month temp need requiring the selected candidate to work 4 days onsite in San Francisco.
Pay: $50–$60/hr
What You’ll Do:
- Support seasonal upholstery design from concept through production
- Create detailed specs, mood/concept boards, and product reviews
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams: Merchandising, Sourcing, Technical Design, and Global Operations
- Stay on top of trends and bring fresh, customer-centered design ideas
- Communicate with overseas vendors to ensure product quality and design vision
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3+ of product design experience in retail or home furnishings
- Strong portfolio showing upholstery or furniture design work
- Excellent taste level with a passion for interiors and design trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Experience working with manufacturers (domestic and overseas) is a plus
