Job Description

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for the beautiful Barton Creek Resort & Spa!

This role will be the welcoming face of our Associate Services (Human Resources) department. Working closely with the Human Resources team, we expect that our chosen individual will be instrumental in creating a warm and welcoming culture that promotes associate engagement and maximizes the success of the hotel staff.

This position is ideal for the candidate wishing to establish their career in Human Resources. The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the Human Resources Team in providing core areas of human resource practices. This individual will also perform all clerical tasks of the department and assist with the day to day activities of recruitment, employee relations, training, occupational health and safety, compensation and benefits, and human resources policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a warm greeting and assistance to all associates who visit the Associate Services Center (Human Resources Office)
  • Provide Front Desk Receptionist support through duration of shift.
  • Provide clerical support to the Human Resources team and other members of hotel leadership as needed.
  • Assist associates with common requests, such as employment verifications, applying for internal job postings, and benefit enrollment.
  • Assist with processing of all new hire paperwork, ensuring that new hires have a great experience.
  • Maintain an organized office environment, which will allow for successful internal audit completion.
  • Assist with arrival communication of interviews and providing candidate updates to hotel leadership.
  • Complete other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Associate Services.
  • Learn, have fun, and create a winning culture while learning to be a hospitality HR professional.
  • Prefer knowledge in Ultipro and iCIMS

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a hotel or HR office setting. (Internship experience counts!)
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or human resources preferred.
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Very detailed and organized.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A warm and friendly demeanor, with compassion towardothers.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
