Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract role with a client in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid). You will be responsible for analyzing and translating data into actionable insights to support financial crimes and compliance projects.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing and translating data into actionable insights to support financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions projects
- Collaborating with financial crimes analysts and quantitative modelers to review business requirements and data needs
- Conducting data profiling and mapping, analyzing results, and providing comprehensive reports
- Reviewing data flows and communicating impacts related to new data sources or projects
- Gathering and translating business requirements into detailed specifications for development teams
- Managing project deliverables and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
- Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities in collaboration with development partners
- Coordinating and multitasking across various projects while ensuring attention to detail and timely delivery
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8+ years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience in MongoDB and SQL
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions
- Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage project timelines effectively
Pay and Benefits
Rate range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
