Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Lead and facilitate workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business needs.
- Deconstruct complex business problems, define current state ('as-is') and future state ('to-be') process flows, and identify areas for improvement and automation.
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise Pega-specific artifacts, including user stories, use cases, business rules, and functional specifications.
- Utilize Pega’s Directly Capture Objectives (DCO) tools and methodology to document requirements, specifications, and business processes directly into the Pega platform.
- Collaborate closely with Pega System Architects and developers to design and model Pega case types, data models, process flows, and UI wireframes.
- Ensure that the proposed technical solution is feasible and accurately meets the documented business requirements.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business requirements and Pega's out-of-the-box capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validation & Stakeholder Management: Work with the QA team to develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions, document feedback, and manage the defect triage process.
- Conduct sprint reviews and product demonstrations for stakeholders to ensure alignment and gather feedback.
- Manage the product backlog, assist with backlog grooming, and prioritize features in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certification: Pega Certified Business Architect (PCBA) certification is mandatory.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.
- Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience working on Pega platform implementation projects.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Pega’s DCO methodology and tools (Application Profiler, Discovery Maps, etc.).
- Skills: Strong understanding of Pega's core capabilities, including Case Management, BPM, and BRE.
- Proven experience in business process modeling (using BPMN or similar notations), requirements gathering, and creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Certification: Pega Certified Senior Business Architect (PCSBA) or other Pega certifications.
- Industry Experience: Experience in [Your Specific Industry, e.g., Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecommunications].
- Framework Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Pega frameworks such as Pega Customer Service, Pega Sales Automation, or Pega KYC/CLM.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data modeling concepts, system integration (APIs, REST/SOAP), and basic SQL.
- Experience with project management tools like JIRA or Confluence.
