We've got what you're looking for. Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead Network Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will get to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, high-performance networks while collaborating with key stakeholders to support mission-critical operations. What You'll Be Doing: Lead and coordinate a team of network engineers to deliver high-quality network solutions and services. Interface with key stakeholders to gather technical requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment with project goals. Design, implement, and maintain secure wide area networks (WANs) and local area networks (LANs) using Cisco and other industry-leading technologies. Manage and support encryptors and other secure communication systems. Oversee the construction and accreditation of secure facilities (e.g., SCIFs) to meet customer requirements. Respond to ad hoc customer requests and provide technical expertise across multiple office locations. What Required Skills You'll Bring: 15+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong background in Cisco routing and switching. Proven expertise in secure communications design, implementation, and support, including experience with encryptors. Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience managing small teams and delivering technical projects. Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark and protocol analysis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with stakeholders and customers effectively. Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: Experience as a COMSEC account custodian or similar role managing secure communications equipment. Knowledge of non-attributable voice and data communications systems. Familiarity with the design and accreditation of secure facilities (e.g., SCIFs). Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced networking certifications. Experience with long-haul network engineering and tuning. Strong understanding of enterprise-level network management tools and software. Security Clearance Requirement: An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
