A Remote/Work From Home or hybrid schedule with occasionally in office time may be considered for highly experienced candidates. However, you must live within normal driving or mass transit commuting distance of this city for occasional office days. Senior Regional Credit Underwriter(traditional Bank/Financial Services experience only) Key Responsibilities Analyze new and renewed C&I or CRE credit requests, including working capital lines, term loans, equipment financing, and owner-occupied real estate. Perform detailed financial statement, tax return, and cash flow analysis for business borrowers and guarantors. Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported credit memoranda for presentation to the loan committee and executive leadership. Evaluate collateral adequacy through review of appraisals, inspections, receivable agings, and other documentation. Work with relationship managers to structure credit solutions that meet customer needs while protecting the banks credit position. Monitor credit performance post-closing, including covenant tracking, loan reviews, and ongoing risk grading. Participate in periodic portfolio reviews, internal audits, and regulatory exams. Provide guidance to junior analysts and contribute to ongoing improvements in underwriting procedures and credit policy. Maintain strong working knowledge of local markets and industries served by the bank, with an emphasis on community and regional economic drivers.

Qualifications Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA designation a plus). Minimum 5 or more years of commercial credit underwriting experience with preferably a primary focus on C&I loans. Strong proficiency in analyzing financial statements, tax returns, borrowing base reports, and cash flow forecasts. Familiarity with various C&I loan types, including lines of credit, term loans, asset-based lending, and owner-occupied real estate. Understanding of business operations across industries such as manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and credit analysis software (e.g., Fiserv, nCino, Moodys Risk Analyst, or Sageworks). Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
