Overview
Are you a subject matter expert in signal and power integrity with a passion for high-speed design? Celestica is looking for a highly skilled Senior Staff Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team. This is a leadership role for a hands-on engineer. You\'ll be the technical authority for high-speed systems, providing crucial design guidelines and support from system architecture to factory builds. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our customers\' most complex products. Responsibilities
Lead Technical Design:
Provide design guidelines and support to system architecture, board layout, and product validation. Model high-density I/Os on PCBs, packages, and connectors, and conduct simulations for memory interfaces and high-speed serial I/O interfaces. Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME):
Serve as a recognized expert, providing technical leadership and direction on complex projects. Analyze layout files to diagnose signal and power integrity issues and provide practical solutions. Drive Project Execution:
Participate in project planning and scheduling, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product development. Validate and Qualify Systems:
Perform testing, simulation, and validation to ensure systems meet design specifications. Model transmission lines and vias and validate methodologies with real-world experiments. Knowledge & Skills We\'re Looking For
Deep Technical Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity fundamental concepts. Extensive experience in Package and PCB modeling. Hands-on Skills:
Proficiency with simulation tools like Hspice, Sigrity, ADS, Ansys SIwave, and HFSS 3D. Experience with decoupling capacitor optimization and loop inductance analysis. Leadership & Communication:
Ability to provide technical leadership and effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. Experience:
11 to 14 years of related experience. Physical Demands
Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment. Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements are frequently required. Occasional travel may be required. Typical Education
