Sr Cloud FinOps Analyst - Remote Were seeking a Senior Cloud Financial Operations Analyst to lead cost optimization and financial governance across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role partners with IT and Finance to drive efficient cloud spend, forecasting, and accountability. The Senior Cloud Financial Operations Analyst will be an integral member of the IT cloud platform team, innovating and improving cloud financial controls and optimization, and helping to drive a culture of accountability regarding cloud usage and spend. This position will be part of the IT organization and will work with Prime's finance teams to ensure financial rigor on cloud spend through cloud controls and processes. Responsibilities

Analyze cloud usage and identify cost-saving opportunities across GCP and AWS. Implement financial governance frameworks and cloud optimization strategies. Build dashboards and reports using tools like BigQuery, Athena, Looker, or Power BI to monitor cloud spend. Present financial insights to IT, Finance, and business leadership. Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to align cloud architecture with financial goals. Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration/management or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience 5 years of work experience in financial analysis including 2 years in IT or related field and 2 years in GCP and AWS Proficiency in Tagging and resource organization: GCP Labels, AWS Tags, Resource Groups Proficiency in Budgeting & forecasting: GCP Budgets, AWS Budgets, and commitment-based pricing (e.g., Reserved Instances, Committed Use Discounts) Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of cloud financial practices and cost controls, usage patterns and pricing; AWS, GCP, OCI and/or Azure Ability to drive business, culture, and technology changes in a dynamic environment Ability to communicate technical and financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences at all organizational levels, including executive leadership Ability to lead multiple complex initiatives, prioritize effectively, and deliver services without compromising quality and standards Preferred Qualifications

Experience with FinOps practices and frameworks Familiarity with healthcare or PBM industry Leadership or team management experience Scripting/querying: SQL, Python, or Shell for cost analysis and automation Cloud cost management tools: AWS Cost Explorer, GCP Cost Management, Cloud Health, Cloudability Physical Demands

Potential pay for this position ranges from $81,000.00 - $138,000.00 based on experience and skills.
