Job Overview: An esteemed law firm is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Attorney specializing in Global Immigration and Mobility to support its growing portfolio of multinational clients. This role is ideal for a legal professional with a deep understanding of international immigration systems, strategic advisory capabilities, and experience in managing complex, cross-border matters. The position involves close collaboration with global stakeholders to develop and implement effective mobility solutions while ensuring compliance with international regulations.Location:Washington, DCDuties:Manage a portfolio of multinational client accounts focused on cross-border immigration and complianceServe as a strategic advisor on global mobility and immigration issuesCollaborate with in-country counsel and immigration experts to ensure effective and compliant solutionsTrack and interpret global immigration developments and regulatory updatesDevelop and implement immigration compliance programs and related internal policiesDraft and review petitions, applications, legal opinions, and compliance communicationsConduct training sessions and provide strategic support for client teamsIdentify and pursue business development opportunities within client portfoliosRequirements:5+ years of legal experience in immigration law, particularly in corporate or global mobility contextsAdmission to practice law in at least one jurisdictionDemonstrated ability to manage multinational accounts and engage with senior stakeholdersIn-depth knowledge of international immigration frameworks (experience with US, EU, APAC, LATAM regions preferred)Strong project management and organizational skillsExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilitiesAbility to work both independently and within a collaborative, cross-functional teamEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) or international legal equivalentCertifications:Licensed to practice law in at least one recognized jurisdictionSkills:Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilitiesHigh degree of cultural competency and global awarenessMultilingual proficiency or significant international experience is a plusFamiliarity with immigration compliance software or global mobility platforms preferredBenefits:Comprehensive benefits packageFlexible work arrangements (hybrid or remote)Collaborative and innovative work environmentOpportunity to work with high-profile, global clients on impactful legal matters
