In this role, you will be part of the

Pipeline Engineering team , within

Energy Services , based in the

Houston

Office . You will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of renewable, natural gas, or oil projects. What a day at EXP has in store for you

A role performing engineering design work as the primary task. This is not a supervisory role. Experience with oil and gas projects, understanding of CFR Parts 192 and 195. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find solutions with limited oversight. Civil engineers can perform tasks such as designing foundations, supports, load calculations, concrete and rebar strength calculations, stormwater calculations, and preparing SWPPPs. Understanding of CAD and GIS applications to assist in completing work deliverables. Ability to coordinate with staff to complete tasks and deliverables. Ability to direct drafting designers in completing design drawings like P&IDs, plot plans, sections, isometrics, BOMs, site plans, grading plans, supports, etc., without management oversight. Ability to analyze data and complete mapping assignments independently. Interaction with personnel, clients, and stakeholders during projects. Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and ability to follow procedures for review, documentation, validation, and improvement. Assist with proposal writing, scope development, and execution planning. Willingness to travel for field exercises, surveys, and project verification. Willingness to learn new engineering fields and technologies to support team knowledge and productivity. Understanding of safe work practices and participation in safety initiatives. What your experience looks like

Design experience, including calculations, reviewing specifications, overseeing drawings, and approving designs. Preferred but not mandatory: E.I.T or P.E. certification. 5-10 years of experience. Experience with renewable, natural gas, or oil projects, including high-pressure pipelines, compression, storage, gathering, treating, and processing. Experience with carbon capture and renewable energies like H2 transmission, solar, and wind is a plus.
