Base pay range $190,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr Lead Software Architect EG – Minneapolis, MN – Full-Time About the Role EG is seeking a seasoned Principal Architect to be the guiding architectural voice for our customer-facing solutions. In this senior role, you will combine strategic vision with hands-on technical leadership to shape scalable, secure, and modern digital platforms. What You’ll Do: Define and evolve the architectural roadmap aligned with business needs Lead strategic architectural decisions to support future capabilities Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to design effective solutions Architect and design products while establishing technical standards across platforms Mentor senior technical talent and influence architects and development leads Ensure security compliance aligned with industry and EG standards Partner with DevOps and Infrastructure teams for aligned application and infrastructure strategies Participate in incident response and lead resolution of critical technical issues Stay current with emerging technologies and lead integrations where appropriate What We’re Looking For: 12+ years in application development; 5+ years in a software architect role Proven experience with cloud-native, microservices-based platforms Deep understanding of agile methodologies and modern software practices Excellent communication skills for engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders Ability to code, perform code reviews, make design/platform decisions, and communicate at all levels Security & Platform Health Focus: Ensure applications are secure, performant, and observable with robust logging and monitoring Ready to architect the future at our client?
