Lead the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring safety, budget adherence, high-quality standards, and timely delivery. Take ownership of project results and work closely with all stakeholders to define project scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline. Communicate clear expectations to team members and stakeholders, serving as a mediator between them. Proactively resolve issues and address problems throughout project life cycle. Effectively manage project scope by documenting and obtaining approvals for any changes via change order forms. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members proactively to foster a high-performance work environment. Adhere to the PRIME Safety Program, complying with safety regulations, procedures and safe work practices. Performs other duties as requested; duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. What You Will Need to be Successful
Minimum 5 years work experience in Fire Alarm project management required. NICET Level 3 preferred. Ability to reference applicable codes confidentially and correctly preferred. Solid knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles. Knowledge of and experience with Fire Alarm System estimating to produce job change orders, evaluating and apply job estimates and assist with new estimates as required. Knowledge of and experience with Project management tools and software packages. Experience with Accubid Estimating systems is preferred Knowledge of and experience with integrated job cost systems to budget, evaluate reports and project final costing Knowledge of and experience with building critical path schedules for projects Knowledge of and experience with design-build delivery models is strongly preferred Ability to actively engage in the construction process and evaluate final cost at completion on a regular basis is essential for the position Experience with identification and quantification of project impacts is preferred. Ability to use good commercial judgment in negotiating change orders with the customer is a requirement Demonstrated leadership managing people Excellent communication, leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills Ability to rapidly adapt and respond to changes in environment and priorities Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work environment Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
