The Designer will support cross-functional teams to design patterns and workflows for a large, complex accounting system. Design flexible workflows for a variety of complex tasks Own feature UX from original idea through design, validation, development and gathering feedback Proactively identify and resolve situations of ambiguity. Help improve and manage our design system Build successful, collaborative working relationships with business and technology partners Gather insight and feedback from internal sources and customers to inform design decisions Collaborate across product teams on strategic design direction of SS&C Advent platform. What You Will Bring
5 or more years experience in a UX design role. Experience working on large, complex systems with structured data such as those found in finance or healthcare Experience with query or reporting tools Experience working with agile or scrum teams Familiarity with iterative design and lean UX methodologies Expertise in Sketch or Figma Patience, flexibility and a positive attitude Experience leading UX discussions with stakeholders and customers Familiar with Adobe Creative Cloud tools A portfolio that demonstrates all phases of the design process (Discovery, Wireframes, UI design, Research) Self-motivated and a solutions-oriented mentality Excellent verbal and written communication skills – with an emphasis on attention to detail Experience typically obtained with a bachelor’s degree Additional Information
