We spotlight work in synthetic biology, gene editing, longevity, and biotech entrepreneurship, translating complex science and startup journeys into clear, engaging stories. Position Overview
Seeking a talented, committed videographer intern to produce high-quality video for a biotech interview podcast. You’ll work closely with hosts, editors, and social to bring compelling conversations to life. Core Responsibilities
Filming & Content Capture
— Available for
two 3-hour recording sessions per week
for
3–6 months . Technical Equipment Management
— Set up, manage, and operate video and audio equipment for
studio-quality
capture. Post-Production Collaboration
— Coordinate with the audio engineer to align video and sound. RAW File Management
— After each session, promptly
upload RAW files
to a shared drive for editing. Long-Form Video Editing
— Edit
full-length podcast episodes
to a professional standard. Trailer & Clip Editing
— Use
Descript
to create highlight clips for marketing and social. Requirements
Videography & Editing Experience
— Portfolio demonstrating prior work. Tools
— Proficiency with
Descript
and
Adobe Premiere Pro . Commitment
— Consistent availability for two weekly 3-hour sessions over 3–6 months. Organization
— Strong file management and deadline discipline. Teamwork
— Effective collaboration with producers, editors, and hosts. Preferred Skills
Basic Audio Editing
— Helpful but not required. Visual Storytelling
— Ability to elevate episodes with strong narrative and edits. Benefits
