The Senior Manager Digital Marketing will join the Roosevelt Institute’s digital team to define and execute our digital marketing strategy. You’ll support the execution of Roosevelt’s digital strategy primarily through the management of our website, email marketing, and social media. This is a collaborative, hands-on role that requires strong communication, strategic marketing intuition, and a solutions-first mindset. This is a nonmanagement, unionized role. Lead and coordinate the dissemination of product and content for all web products—publications, blogs, emails, newsletters, new pages, etc. Collaborate with the digital team and internal and external stakeholders to project manage and provide support for publications, digital projects, events, and initiatives (website, social content, and email campaigns). Manage audience segmentation, targeting, and list hygiene to ensure campaigns reach the right audiences with tailored strategies. Develop testing strategies and collect metrics; analyze data and provide actionable insights to optimize website and email content, campaigns, and audience engagement. Establish standards for website, email, and other digital processes; build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support a digital-first culture. Research and stay current with website, social media, and email trends; support organizational/departmental training as needed. Liaise with internal stakeholders to coordinate, draft, and execute content for Roosevelt Institute social channels, following brand standards. Support growth of the Institute’s online presence and engagement across web, social (paid and organic), and email; edit social content and perform basic video editing as needed. Stay informed on progressive policy and economic issues; translate digital trends into actionable strategies for Roosevelt’s expertise. Oversee all website and email content and functionality; coordinate with maintenance and external support teams for issues and improvements. Help manage and maintain the integrated communications calendar and provide backup for other digital functions. What You’ll Have

Required : Experience with website CMS (WordPress), email platforms (Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), and CRM tools (Salesforce). Strong knowledge of website analytics and optimization tools (Google Analytics, SEO, Google Search Console, Google Ads) and email analytics. Experience with social analytics/publishing tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Buffer). Proficiency in website and digital marketing fundamentals (audience targeting, segmentation, optimization, measurement). Versatile understanding of website content development, email best practices, and analytics tools. Self-starter with ability to work independently and collaboratively; strong deadlines and cross-team coordination. Strong copywriting skills for email, social, and website content; eye for visual content and brand stewardship. Proficiency with Google and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred : Bachelor’s degree in a related field; minimum 6 years of relevant experience (digital content, email marketing, or digital marketing management). Experience in nonprofits, grassroots organizing, or advocacy. Familiarity with web design, video support tools, and software like Canva, Camtasia, iMovie. Not sure if you meet all the qualifications?
