As a key member of our Marketing and Business Development team, the
Communications and Brand Manager
will be instrumental in helping us share our story—both within the firm and beyond. In this role, you will be a strong and influential voice, collaborating closely with the President, leadership team, and senior market sector leaders. You will craft thoughtful, engaging content that captures the essence of our work—who we are, what we do, and why it matters. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our voice is clear, consistent, and aligned with our human-centric values and design ethos. You will participate in the development and implementation of a communications plan to ensure we are conveying our unique ideas to audiences in the industry and beyond. If you\'re passionate about design, energized by storytelling, and skilled at distilling complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that reflect a company\'s culture and elevate its brand, we would love to hear from you. Education and Experience Required
Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent education in a related field. Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in the AEC industry. Demonstrated history of success in working with a diverse team of stakeholders. Experience managing a brand from both verbal and visual aspects. Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills. Strong and effective communication skills – written, oral, and presentation-level graphics. Experience in the Healthcare market a strong plus. Supervisory Responsibilities
Oversees the work of internal team members within committees, and brand initiatives. Works independently with limited oversight for team members. Position reports to the Principal, Director of Marketing. Duties and Responsibilities for this position
Participate in thought leadership and brand strategies. Manage the development and implementation of a communications plan and an annual press and event calendar. Develop content and writing in support of thought leaderships strategies. Create other content as needed for pursuits, social media, website, internal communications, etc. Foster and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship within the firm. Participate in professional development activities, learning and training programs. Be proficient in MS suite. Adobe suite is a plus. At Taylor Design, we’re humble— it keeps us grounded. Pay Rate: $95,000.00 to $125,000.00/year Pay Comments: If you are hired at Taylor Design, your base salary is based on factors such as geographic location, years of experience in the industry and core markets, software skills, role responsibilities, and licensure and/or certification.
