Duties
Defend clients in employment-related claims. Investigate claims, analyze liability, and develop strategies. Conduct legal research and analysis. Draft letters, memos, motions, and pleadings. Prepare discovery requests and take/defend depositions. Represent clients at court conferences, hearings, and mediations. Communicate regularly with partners, associates, and clients. Requirements
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Current California bar admission, in good standing. 2+ years of experience, employment law background preferred. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Team player with strong personal interaction skills. Self-starter with organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Understanding of state and federal procedures. Comfortable with court appearances and depositions. Education
Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications
California bar admission, in good standing. Skills
