Overview
The University of Virginia seeks a strategic and analytically minded leader to support data-informed decision-making across the Enrollment division. This role focuses on strengthening the use of data and evidence to inform key strategies related to admission, financial aid, student success, and overall enrollment planning. The incumbent will design, lead, and assess strategies to help every colleague in Enrollment gain confidence in asking critical questions and answering those questions with evidence. Build capacity for action-oriented collection, visualization, and analysis of data. Lead efforts to create statistical and other evidence-informed models that advance UVA's goals for enrollment and its strategy for admission, scholarships, financial aid, student success, and service to communities across the Commonwealth. Work closely with the Director of Enrollment Communications to ensure communications and marketing efforts are grounded in sound intelligence. Monitor external research in enrollment, admission, student finances, records and registration, access and opportunity, and related fields; identify and share examples to inform decisions about strategy and operations. Establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of enrollment-related data. Cultivate and maintain collaborative relationships with faculty and staff in other divisions and departments whose research or administrative interests align with Enrollment. In partnership with Institutional Research and Analytics, ensure accurate and effective reporting of enrollment data. In consultation with senior leaders in Enrollment, develop a plan for staffing and structuring efforts to gather and use intelligence throughout the organization. Responsibilities

Ensure accurate and effective reporting of enrollment data in partnership with Institutional Research and Analytics. Develop staffing and structure plans for gathering and using intelligence across the organization. Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field plus 3 years of experience as a Director of Enrollment Intelligence and Analytics or any related occupation. Physical Demands
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs. Salary and Benefits
