This position is for a Software Systems Engineer on the C2BMC program. The candidate will be responsible for software systems engineering products for their Scrum Team, including development of software products. Responsibilities include in-depth analysis and technical support of systems software products, complex problem resolution, design, development, testing, operational integration, and user support. The role includes systems engineering support for a team that maintains, debugs, and configures related software products. Work from specifications to develop or modify operating system applications, assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs, and collaborate with the SEIT organization to decompose system requirements to software-level requirements, drive system use cases, conops, sequences, and develop/update system external interfaces. Author or assist with proposals and perform software design at the product level (use cases, sequences). Create and maintain software design documents such as Algorithm Design Documents and Functional Design Documents. Experience Required

Command and control system application development Automated test and pipeline development experience desired Experience developing software for Unix/Linux and Windows platforms Experience with software integration testing including developing automated test scripts Experience with performance modeling Experience with build management tools and pipelines Prior C2BMC experience Experience working within an Agile development environment, domain experience with space and missile defense, systems analysis, MBSE, architecture development, virtualization, containerization, and cloud computing principles Demonstrated experience working on large multi-site software development efforts including external interface development Experience conducting or leading analyses of alternatives, trade studies, or design evaluations Experience designing large command and control and/or weapon systems MBSE and MBSE tool experience Security+ highly desired Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently in a dynamic environment Good working knowledge of MS Office products Technical Skills

Model-based systems engineering, CONOPS, DOORS Understanding of systems engineering processes and principles with a proven track record Experience in an integrated team with systems, software, and specialty engineers Experience developing large, complex systems Working knowledge of system engineering artifacts (e.g., specifications, ICDs, Use Cases, SysML diagrams, trade studies) Familiarity with development tools: git, Nexus, JIRA, Confluence, Maven/Gradle, Eclipse Use of MBSE concepts and standard design artifacts Willingness to take on unanticipated tasks Education

Bachelors degree in software engineering, systems engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related field from an accredited college. May require 5 years of experience with a Bachelors or 3 years with a Masters degree. Location and Clearance

Location: Full Time/On-Site in the specified location. Security Clearance: Secret DOD 8570 Requirement: 8410 is required within 60 days of starting. Salary

Salary range: $100,000 to $122,000. Actual salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. Some positions may be eligible for variable incentive compensation. Benefits
