Overview
Pilsen Wellness Center, Inc. is a community-based not-for-profit agency that provides culturally sensitive services to a multicultural population with limited financial resources. The organization’s mission is to provide quality human services to economically disadvantaged children and families. The agency comprises five divisions - Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Youth Services, Early Intervention, and Education, supported through 17 locations.
Position We are seeking a full-time Chief Financial Officer to join our Finance Department located at 2319 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60608.
Work Schedule Monday–Friday 9:00am–5:00pm
Responsibilities
The CFO supervises the Finance Department and is the chief financial spokesperson for the organization.
The CFO reports directly to the President/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and directly assists on all strategic and tactical matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and securing new funding.
Qualifications And Skills
Completion of a master’s degree at an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, finance or the equivalent
10+ years of experience in accounting
3+ years of experience in supervising finance professionals
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
