Director of Facilities Operations / Healthcare Facilities Director
Boston area hospital, 20 minutes north
As Director of Facilities Operations, you’ll oversee critical infrastructure across a two-campus hospital system, including a Level III Trauma Center and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient services. Your expertise directly supports clinical excellence—and patient lives.

Lead HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and plant operations across two hospital campuses Manage preventative maintenance programs and rapid-response repairs Hire, train, and supervise skilled trades and management staff Oversee capital budgets, vendor contracts, and service delivery metrics Ensure strict compliance with Joint Commission, OSHA, and other standards Guide construction and renovation projects when needed Collaborate closely with hospital execs on operational strategy About You
Be able to do the job as described Must have at least 5 years of management experience in hospital-based facilities operations Deep hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, and plant systems Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations (Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA) Bachelor’s in facilities management, engineering, or similar field (or equivalent experience) How To Apply
