Seeking a Senior Engineer Planner Specialist to become a Development Engineering Planner dedicated to the development of military-grade electronics for the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) system. What you'll experience: Work within the Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM) system to complete documentation moving the design closer to production Work with Design Engineering to understand demand, set buildable structures into our Enterprise Resource Planning system (IFS), and create shop orders Point of contact for Design Engineering to IFS, parts ordering, vendor communications, and status What you bring to the table: A Bachelor's of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree Demonstrate narrowly focused in-depth technical level of practical operational process knowledge in a specific engineering area Demonstrate technical competence in the setup, monitoring, and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment What sets you apart: Shows initiative and professionally executes projects with little direction Commitment to ongoing professional development Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple programs and tasks at once High level of experience in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, IFS, and EPDM Strong written and oral communication skills Our Commitment to You: An exciting career path with opportunities for continuous learning and development Research oriented work, alongside award-winning teams developing practical solutions for our nation's security Flexible schedules with every other Friday off work, if desired (9/80 schedule) Competitive benefits, including 401k matching, flex time off, paid parental leave, healthcare benefits, health & wellness programs, employee resource and social groups, and more See more at gdmissionsystems.com/careers/why-work-for-us/benefits Workplace Options: This position is fully on-site or hybrid.
