F-35 Avionics and Configuration Management Engineer The Opportunity: As an engineer, you know leading-edge fighter planes are critical to national defense. At Booz Allen, you can use your engineering expertise to develop next-generation defense tools and technology. We need your skills and expertise to develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter. The task is to support the F-35 on the client's team. In this role, you will perform engineering analysis for the F-35 helmet night vision modes and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) parts, and assist with contract management. For the Configuration Management (CM) team, you will assist in managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), other configuration change notices, and fleet modifications such as Service Data Notes, for Mission Systems. The position will require you to learn the various methods that the F-35 program office uses to create, track, process, and approve CM and DMS changes to the aircraft's systems. You Have: 4+ years of experience in an engineering or technical position 3+ years of experience with aircraft avionics design and development Experience with technical project management Secret clearance Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technology field Nice If You Have: Experience working with DMS tasks and CM processes Experience with United States Air Force or Navy programs Experience in Human Factors Engineering Masters degree in Engineering Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and organizational requirements. The projected salary range for this position is $86,800 to $198,000 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
