Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in Kenosha, WI. You'll be part of a collaborative group of six technicians supporting over 400 users across the site. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in desktop support within a mid-to-large sized organization, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving technical issues with a service-oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities

Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices. Use SCCM or Intune to image machines, deploy software updates, and manage endpoints. Set up new users, including hardware provisioning, account configuration, and onboarding support. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows 10 and Office 365 environments. Perform hardware swaps, upgrades, and repairs as needed. Maintain and update asset inventory and documentation. Collaborate with team members and escalate complex issues when necessary. Ensure timely and professional resolution of support tickets and service requests. Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in desktop support within a similarly sized organization (400+ users). Proficiency with: Windows 10 and 11 Office 365 Active Directory SCCM or Intune (for imaging and deployment) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications

Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field. Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications. Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management tools. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
