MRI Technologist
Perform diagnostic Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations according to established imaging protocols, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Deliver high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations while providing exceptional customer service in alignment with hospital values. Responsibilities
Organize and maintain inventory of supplies, ensuring the work area is clean and orderly. Prepare film and CDs promptly upon request. Assist in protocol development and implementation. Train new personnel and Radiology School students on procedures, imaging protocols, and department policies. Collect quality control data such as film usage and equipment problems for management. Essential Skills
Experience using Siemens MRI technology. ARRT or ARMRIT registration completed. Proficiency in Neuro, MSK, Body, Angiography, Breast/Breast biopsies, and Cardiac exams. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree or one to three years of formal training in an American Medical Association accredited school of Radiologic Technology/Magnetic Resonance. Approximately four to six months of job-related experience or successful completion of a formal MRI educational training program. Completion of ARRT MRI or ARMRIT examination within one year of hire for unregistered Technologist. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required prior to hire. Work Environment
Hospital setting with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Facility utilizes 5 Siemens scanners on multiple platforms (B, E, and XA), offering room for growth with potential for supervisory roles. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
