OTR Driver - Chicago, Illinois (Finance) This position involves physically transporting Johnsonville's products across the country. Safe, dedicated drivers who comply with state and federal laws and regulations deliver products for customers while maintaining a safety-first mindset. As a member of our trucking team, you will provide exceptional customer service as a representative of Johnsonville. Johnsonville Trucking OTR Driver highlights include an average annual pay of $100,000 with monthly bonus potential, paid on hub miles, flexible home time options, affordable health insurance premiums, 24/7 virtual doctor visits, substantial PTO and paid holidays. Drivers average 2,300 miles per week and may have opportunities to breakdown customer orders for additional income or hire a lumping service to unload freight. Safety first mindset and customer service focused approach Attention to detail, organization, and ability to execute assigned work duties Represent Johnsonville with a clean and professional image Drive 2020 or newer tractors and late model Great Dane refer trailers Complete thorough vehicle safety inspections Complete E-DVIR for mechanical conditions in need of repair Legally operate in compliance with FMCSA regulations Maintain pre-scheduled appointments, obtain necessary signatures on bills of lading, and communicate delays to dispatch Basic math and map reading skills Mechanical aptitude Computer skills desirable
Qualifications
Acceptable driving record meeting company and DOT requirements Class A Commercial Driver's License Minimum 21 years of age 100,000 miles driving experience or completion of a certified truck driving school 2 years recent OTR experience preferred Experience in the refrigerated food industry preferred
