MRI Technologist

Performs MRI examinations on pediatric patients, ensuring the production of quality diagnostic images. Essential Functions: Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures. Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required. Monitors patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort. Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored. Maintains MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety. Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret MRI images and provide accurate diagnoses. Education Requirement: Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology, required. Licensure Requirement: Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, required. Certifications: Current CPR Certification, required. ARRTcertification (MRI) within 1 year of employment, required. Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience: Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences, required. One year of experience in MRI procedures, preferred. Experience in pediatric setting, preferred.
