This is a full-time position (72 hours every 2 weeks) with 12-hour Evening shifts located at Scripps Green Urgent Care in Torrey Pines.

As an ED Tech, you will support emergency department or urgent care by performing basic emergency medical procedures as directed under supervision, assists nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions. In addition Performs assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non-sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection. Prepares patients for examinations/treatments including draping patients, opening sterile supplies, set up and removal of IV's. Assist in collection of patient history and ensures confidentiality of records. Required Qualifications: Certified CA state issued EMT (EMT, AEMT or Paramedic) or CAN BLS Healthcare Provider Certifications through American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting At Scripps Health, you will experience the pride, support and respect of an organization that has been repeatedly recognized as one of the nations Top 100 Places to Work.
