Pay Rate: $16.79-$27.49 hourly Job Description: Performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the established FMC policies, procedures and guidelines. The Neurodiagnostic Technologist is expected to demonstrate professional behavior; display appropriate conduct; and show consideration, respect, and patience toward all patients, families, staff and professional affiliates. First, Second, Third Shifts/Weekend Duty / Holiday Rotation Prepare patients for EEG testing by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort Operate EEG and other neurodiagnostic equipment for data collection Monitor and observe patients during testing to ensure accurate data collection Clean and maintain EEG equipment and troubleshooting any technical issues Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals for patient diagnosis and treatment plans Record and document patient history and test results in electronic medical records Stay updated with advancements in neurodiagnostic technologies and methodology Educate and train newly hired EEG technologists or students Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required, advanced education preferred. Certification by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) preferred. One (1) year of previous experience in Neurodiagnostic technology or Sleep Medicine. Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
