DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical functions for Laurel Hill State Park Complex, which consists of Laurel Hill, Kooser and Laurel Ridge State Parks. You will greet and provide information to visitors, answer telephone inquiries, maintain files, and utilize the Park Reservation System and point of sale software.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Seasonal full-time employment.

No health care benefits and no option to buy in to health care from the employer.

Work hours typically are

Tuesday and Wednesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm, lunch 12:00pm - 12:30pm Thursday - Saturday: 10:00am - 6:00pm, lunch 2:00pm - 2:30pm

Shift and schedule can vary to meet the operational needs of a 7 day/week operational facility. This position will be routinely scheduled to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed for park operations and to meet seasonal needs. Telework:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $18.46/hour (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);

or Graduation from high school;
