Plans, organizes, supervises and evaluates the performance of the IT team: with team, develops, implements and monitors work plans to achieve the Companys mission, goals and performance measures; Supervises, participates in developing, recommends, implements and continually works to improve work programs, plans, processes, procedures and tools applicable to team responsibilities in order to achieve or exceed Company goals and Company quality and service standards; Coordinates, oversees, participates in and/or implements work flows, processes and procedures to improve IT Operations; ensures appropriate and efficient IT staffing levels; Actively participates in the selection and hiring of IT team members in accordance with Companys principles, practices, business needs and mission; Organizes and schedules team to ensure business requirements are met or exceeded; manages vendor relationships and service-level agreements (SLAs), ensuring accountability and performance in outsourced or co-managed services. Leads, manages, monitors and evaluates the performance of assigned team members: assists in establishing teams results-oriented performance goals and requirements and individual team members growth and development targets; Regularly monitors performance and provides coaching for performance improvement and development; Recommends career advancements and other rewards to recognize performance; Recommends disciplinary action, up to, and including, termination, to address performance deficiencies, in accordance with Company policies. Leads, manages, and oversees the Companys IT infrastructure and operations: ensures exceptional uptime, performance, and scalability of enterprise-wide information systems across multiple time zones, including cloud infrastructure, networks, servers, and end-user systems; Leads the IT team to support geographically distributed teams, ensuring consistent IT service delivery and support around the clock; Implements and continuously enhances monitoring, alerting, and performance management tools and protocols across diverse environments; Oversees endpoint and system lifecycle management, software deployments, and automation efforts for efficiency and consistency. Leads, directs, manages and oversees the Companys IT Security & Compliance program: leads enterprise-wide IT security strategy, risk management, and compliance initiatives, including policy development, user training, incident response, and audit readiness; Coordinates vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response plans in line with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS; Ensures business continuity and disaster recovery plans are developed, maintained, and regularly tested; Engages with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to enforce cybersecurity measures and compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, GDPR). Collaborates with Senior Leaders and Systems/IT peers to engage in strategic technology planning: develops and executes IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on cost optimization, resilience, and innovation; Drives cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives, including migration planning and optimization; Collaborates with executive leadership to align IT strategy with organizational priorities and future technology roadmaps. Leads, oversees and manages cross-functional IT projects from planning through execution, including infrastructure upgrades, data center improvements, and cloud deployments; prepares, manages, and reports on operational and capital budgets, aligning investments with strategic goals. Develops, documents, and updates IT and security policies, SOPs, and infrastructure diagrams to ensure organizational clarity, efficiency, and audit-readiness; implements and enforces ITIL-based practices for incident, change, and problem management. Provides leadership and works with team to create and foster a high performance, service-oriented work environment that supports the Companys mission, objectives and service expectations; provides leadership and participates in programs and activities that promote a positive team environment. With CTO, actively assists and participates in providing and/or coordinating ongoing team training; ensures that team members engage in useful learning and development opportunities. Requirements

Licenses, Certification, Education and/or Experience Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or similar industry-recognized certifications and ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent operational framework expertise are highly desirable. Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in information systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required; Masters degree or MBA is preferred. Minimum of 6 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role overseeing both IT operations and security; experience managing IT teams and infrastructure in a multi-site, global organization; proven success leading cloud-first initiatives and implementing enterprise security programs.
