Tool And Die Maker
We are seeking a 1st shift Tool and Die Maker for a leading manufacturer of flexible tubing, sheet metal, and fabricated parts. This role involves working with a variety of equipment, including CNC Brake presses, CNC Mills, Manual Mills, Boring Mills, Tube Mills, CNC Lathes, EDMs, turrets, lasers, shears, drill presses, grinders, welders, and powder coating equipment. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for die design using CAD, performing repairs and builds on progressive and single-hit dies, creating and repairing tools for CNC Machinery, building fixtures for the machining area, and operating conventional machinery as needed. The ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints to make or repair fixtures and tooling is essential. Responsibilities: Perform die design using CAD software. Repair and build progressive and single-hit dies. Create and repair tooling for CNC Machinery. Build fixtures for the machining area. Operate conventional machinery when necessary, such as mills and lathes. Read, interpret, and work from blueprints to create or repair fixtures and tooling. Essential Skills: Journeyman Tool & Die Maker Card or Certificates in the Trade. 5+ years of Tool and Die Maker experience. 5+ years of CNC/Manual Machinist experience. Experience utilizing CAD or similar software for designing and building machinery. Ability to build and repair single-hit and progressive dies. Experience building or repairing tooling for CNC machinery. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Possess own tools/toolbox, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and tape measure. Ability to perform simple addition and subtraction. Experience maintaining tolerances. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with boring mills and EDMs. Experience with custom machine building. Why Work Here?
