We are looking for an experienced Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) Chemical Regulation and Premarket Notification (PMN) Expert to join our dynamic team!
As a Regulatory Affairs Technical Senior Manager, you will be an integral part of the Regulatory Affairs Product Safety (RAPS) team reporting directly to the Global Chemical Innovation Service organization and functionally to the North American team, based in Ridgedale, New Jersey.
You will navigate and ensure compliance with chemical regulations in the United States and Canada, working with external partners, internal customers, and regional regulatory bodies on regulatory matters. You will bring your expertise to the team and to our customers, leveraging true business partnership opportunities. You will also contribute to our customer relationships by delivering the best technical consulting to our key B2B customers.
In this exciting role, you will:
Ensure compliance with chemical regulations, including TSCA (Toxic Substances Control Act), FIFRA in the US, and CEPA (Canadian Environmental Protection Act) in Canada.
Stay informed of changes in chemical legislation and assess their impact on company operations.
Manage the PMN process for new chemical substances in both US and Canadian markets.
Prepare and submit PMN dossiers to appropriate regulatory bodies, monitor their progress, and address inquiries.
Provide technical regulatory guidance for FEMA GRAS registration as food ingredients and FIFRA registrations, supporting registrations as needed.
Identify early legislative and regulatory issues affecting the business and advise on risks due to safety or regulatory developments.
Conduct risk assessments for chemical substances and develop hazard reduction strategies.
Collaborate with teams to ensure products meet safety and environmental standards.
Compile and maintain regulatory documentation and databases.
Prepare reports and communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.
Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies, industry associations, and third-party consultants.
Advise product development teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
Develop and deliver training programs on regulatory compliance.
Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
Your professional profile includes:
Master's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical regulation and compliance in the US and Canada.
Deep understanding of TSCA, CEPA, and related frameworks.
Experience with PMN submissions and approvals.
Stakeholder engagement skills.

The established salary range for this position is $120,000 - 160,000 annually. Actual compensation will depend on individual qualifications.
