Summary
This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving, locating, stacking and counting merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
Read daily order sheet to be able to select and move the correct tote of product
Move finished pallets of product from the roasting room to the warehouse or loading dock
Moves empty totes to be cleaned
Handles inventory receiving transactions
Adheres to all company policies and safety rules
Assist other packaging employees within their job duties including using chemicals and water to clean and sanitize packaging equipment, palletizing and break down empty totes
Perform other duties as assigned
Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience
1+ years related experience and/or training
Other Information
Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes.
