Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced
Lead Archer Developer
with a strong background in the financial risk domain to join our consulting team. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-impact Archer GRC solutions that drive business value for our clients. You will lead strategy definition, implementation, and operations while providing technical expertise and leadership throughout the full project lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with clients to understand their business challenges, define problem statements, evaluate solution options, and deliver practical, scalable outcomes. Your role will include creating detailed design and architectural documentation, building robust Archer configurations, and guiding successful deployments. You will also support training and knowledge transfer efforts to ensure long-term client success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end development and configuration of RSA Archer GRC applications, including design, build, test, and deployment Collaborate with clients to define requirements and deliver tailored Archer solutions Design and implement complex solutions including advanced workflows, data feeds, API integrations, notifications, and dashboards Build and demonstrate Proof of Concepts (POCs) to illustrate platform capabilities Customize core Archer modules and develop custom applications (ODAs) as needed Support ongoing maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution for deployed solutions Contribute to strategic planning and help define best practices in Archer development Document design specifications and configuration decisions to support knowledge sharing
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or foreign equivalent) At least 8 years of experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting RSA Archer GRC applications Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Archer Developer Deep understanding of core Archer components such as: Access Management (Roles, Groups, Record Permissions) Forms, Sub-Forms, Questionnaires Fields, Layouts, Data Driven Events, Notifications Advanced Workflow, Calculated Fields, APIs, Mail Merge Reports, Dashboards, Data Feeds, Data Imports, Value Lists, Cross References Experience customizing core solutions and developing ODAs Proven ability to manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within the Archer platform Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience in financial risk or regulatory compliance domains Ability to manage client relationships and drive technical conversations Strong presentation and documentation skills
Work Environment
Primarily a desk-based role with extended periods working on a computer
