Job DescriptionJob Description Production Planner (Electronics Manufacturing)
Hours: Flexible - 7 AM - 4 PM, 8 AM - 5 PM Schedule: Full-time, on-site (some flexibility as needed, not fully hybrid)
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour (negotiable to higher rate depending on experience)
Role Summary Translate demand into executable build plans for APS systems, manual programmers, sockets, and kits. You’ll run MRP, level load work centers, and coordinate cross-functionally to meet ship dates and revenue targets. Key Responsibilities
Convert Salesforce opportunity/forecast data into master production schedules; maintain the S&OP handshake.
Run MRP in Macola; release/maintain work orders, plan shortages, and align materials with capacity.
Sequence jobs to hit promised ship dates; manage reschedules and communicate changes proactively.
Partner with Purchasing on shortages/expedites and with Engineering on ECOs and new product ramps.
Track WIP, yield, and constraints; chair daily/weekly tier meetings with Manufacturing and Customer Success.
Maintain item master and planning parameters (lead time, lot size, ROP/SS, backflush settings).
Build and publish dashboards for schedule adherence, backlog health, and commit-to-ship.
Qualifications
1–5 years of production planning/scheduling experience in electronics or capital equipment manufacturing.
Hands-on with Macola (ERP/MRP) and comfortable using Salesforce for demand inputs.
Solid grasp of MPS/MRP, capacity planning, routers, and BOM structures.
Analytical, organized, and calm under changing priorities; strong cross-functional communicator.
AS/BS in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or equivalent experience.
Nice to Have
APICS/ASCM CPIM; experience with robotics/automation builds or socket manufacturing.
Familiarity with Lean (kanban, PFEP, heijunka) and basic constraint management.
