Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and managing a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, benefits, training, and performance management. The HR Specialist acts as a key partner to leadership and employees, ensuring a positive workplace culture and adherence to company policies and employment laws. Someone with experience in California HR/law is a plus!
Key Responsibilities:
Administer day-to-day HR operations, policies, and procedures.
Support full-cycle recruitment including job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Assist with benefits administration, payroll coordination, and leave management.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR-related issues, performance, and conflict resolution.
Support training, development programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
Ensure workplace compliance with safety and diversity standards.
Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
4+ years of HR experience (or equivalent relevant experience).
Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) a plus.
